i have been offline quite a lot. the main reason is that i just finished a book (the Piece of Cake is done) and haven't wanted to think in prose at all. the ohter main reason is that i am currently undertaking a very stretching residency in potsdam with a choreographer and a dancer or two, working on who knows what, filed under 'explain later'. will be back on planet blog in a couple of weeks - i'm just saying hello now because my own silence was starting to bother me.
i will be making some changes around here soon too - i need to get off the googles before they take me somewhere i don't want to go. and i've been thinking a lot about 'the future' which is what you are supposed to do on the internet, and ways to make some work available online for your reading pleasure. so you can look forward to an interesting new-fangled blog in a month or two and hopefully some more content.
don't ask me about the book until next week.

Jen.......your words have made my day. Great sense of humour. I was looking for Jennifer Mills (my life drawing teacher) at RMIT. And I found you. Geees I'd love to come to your side of the planet for a while (a long while) and escape the monotony of city life. Would be nice to disect myself from all this? Good luck with the book and the dancers etc......I'm jealous
Do they have spell check in here?
Take care.....Ciao Isabel

Good morning Jen.....tks for responding.....my little bloggo in response to your lovely message yesterday obviously didnt work...What does this comment moderation mean? Dont be sorry about the rain and cold in alice....this climate is really beautiful and allows us to ponder more and enjoy things we take for granted...Im writing an article at the moment which i hope this agent in sydney may publish....anyway have a good day and stay warm and dry...speaking of rain and humidity
I dont think think my wavy hair will stay blowaved straight over there..Sorry I can waffle on forever and your busy...i will just finish my soy latte (be nicer if it was non gm tho)and get back to work too. Write to me if you have time or are bored....maybe during your lunch break??? Isa
Hi Jen...tks for your response yesterday. I wrote back to say that it was a refreshing accidental encounter indeed. I cannot see the other two messages. One of which was my conversation with a lovely chappy who I booked to travel from Darwin to Ramingining for an elders funeral. this lovely man works for IBA Indigenous Business Aust. and is someone who's stories paint a great picture in my mind of love for his family and the beloved land he was raised on....not to mention the simple things in life we take for granted.
This cold rainy weather is great and allows us to take slow long breaths and ponder. Keep dry and warm....Just one more question.. Are quilts and fluffy slippers required in Alice???
Gee its scary when you actually make yourself laugh...CU Isa
